About

Our Founder

Since founding HeadTop Performance in 2019, Sean has become one of the most sought after leadership and performance coaching resources in the country reaching a level of success that less than 1% of peers in this space do. His work has helped clients transform their performance culture, have helped leaders establish an identity and voice of influence and inspiration, and have helped individual performers in business and sport elevate their performance and daily behaviors that are tied directly to that performance. His ability to challenge the clients place of comfort and familiarity and expand their potential has proven to be life changing and career defining for countless clients. Sean is a true change agent that doesn’t just get you started, but keeps you growing, improving, and impacting.

Sean’s Prior Experience

Following his graduation from Duke University as a four-year student-athlete, Sean went on to join Fortune 500 medical device leader Stryker Inc. Sean’s success at Stryker created the opportunity for him to join a Swiss medical device startup, where he delivered multiple years of record-breaking performance. Those results helped Sean earn the opportunity to lead the entire U.S. Sales Organization, and by the age of 28, he became the company’s first Executive Vice President.

During his time as EVP, Sean implemented an entirely new and innovative customer-facing model that helped grow the organization’s U.S. revenue by nearly 10x. His passion for building a high-performance culture, developing exceptional leaders, and creating record-breaking results played a major role in founding HeadTop.

Sean resides in Sacramento, CA with his wife Michelle, son Connor, and daughter Paige. Outside of prioritizing his time as a husband, father, friend, and founder, Sean’s competitive drive leads him to a variety of endurance competitions. From marathons to Hyrox events, and Ragnar and Tough Mudder races—he is consistently looking for ways to challenge himself and expand his potential and capacity in everything he does.
